This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Keep up the work.  It looks great   Weather permitting, you'll be cruising before you know it.

Working on head light buckets and want to get them installed into the nose cone. When I removed my vacum  motor there were washers shimming them out a bit. 3 if I recall. Where they all like this or was mine modified at one time? Also the stoppers for the headlights are away off center. I did not modify to keep original workmanship. Are they mostly this bad or was mine built on a Monday? See pics. If there are any good pics of nosecone weather stripping installation I would love to get some detail in that area. Rob.

Picture below is from my car - note the 3 washers/shims.  If your headlight stops are off center it's not too surprising.  It'd be OK to leave them (since it was originally off center) or relocate to suit whatever your level of OCD affliction might be.

I have had my son and/or my wife help me many times for an engine drop. They listen better and don't drink all my beer after.

Well today was finally a big day in the resto. To get the nose cone on. Last big item to install, I can finally say I am down to just detailing. Went on pretty good, fit was harder with all the gaskets in place. A little harder to line up. Got the lights hooked up and working will be doing the finall bolt tightening this week and check to see the hide away headlights pop up with no isssues. Next will be wiring harness routing and engine bay decals. That part is rewarding as it starts to really come together and look finished. Snow is melting So I want to Get ER Done. Rob.

I am calling it done. I still have a lot of little things to do but Its on the road. It went to its first car show in Toronto and one People's Choice. I got $100.00 cash a nice mopar golf bag and a 3' trophy. Great for its first time out. It will be in the Arena at Moparfest in Aug. Would love to take it to the Nats. or the new Indy event. Thanks to all that have helped with my many questions on parts and detailing. Now what to do with all my time? Rob.
