I put it on my work PC last week after my hard drive was acting up. Put in a new drive and put on W7 for the hell of it. I can't print or pull scanned files of our copier and have a couple of other glitches. Why don't they have drivers figured out when they launch a new OS? Oh yeah - it's Micro-shaft.

I quite like Windows 7 actually......they sure did mess up MS Paint though.

And....what's with the folders?
Me, being a "picture-a-holic"...I go into a folder and half of my screen is dominated by a PREVIEW panel that I don't want.
And good luck trying to change it.

And the "libraries" - can go straight back to hell where it came from.
I bought this laptop a week ago, and it was a toss up between screwing with Microsoft junk (again) or going with a MacBook for the same price.
I'm kicking my ass right now!!!

Took me a little to figure out how word pad works too now :P Other wise i like it. No driver issues yet with older programs and hardware.

It took me a few days to adjust (Going from XP) ,but I LOVE 7 now... to me, it's as close to an Apple as MS has ever been.. Some of the "key features" of an Apple were nicely copied and moved over.....

The folder views, paint, and a few other small things that changed threw me for a loop, but the GOOD far outweigh the bad, IMO.

That said, I boycotted Windows ME and Windows Vista... I LOVED XP and held on to it as long as possible... But the fact that MS has made SO many things easy with 7, I'll stick with it..

Bit again by the standard Bill Gates lie...."It will be backwards compatible".
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
