What's the differance between 70 8 3/4s and 73 8 3/4s?  I'm talking flange to flange, leaf spring center line to center line and center line of axle shaft to center line of rear u-jont.  Wondering if a 70 b 8 3/4 will fit a 73 Charger?

Thanks John for the info.  If I move the spring purch, I should be able to fit a 70 under a 73?

A tape measure will tell the tale, you have to move the perches out over 1 1/2" on each side to fit the '73 so be sure there is room for the outer U-bolt before the housing steps up in diameter.
