For example-  If your charger/s have been significantly altered as many have especially in the case of the General Lees.

My 69 SE was T5 w/ a tan vinyl top.I sold it a few years ago.
The 69 R/T S.E. I am buying in the next few weeks is triple green F5 with a green vinyl top.

My '68 actually came from the factory with no vinyl top. That was a blessing to me as far as rust is concerned!

Plain car: 318, No A/C or anything, "Charger Red" (not sure what the color code is), 2.76 peg leg. No options really: power steering and brakes as well as a console and that's it.

OK, of the eleven second gen. Charger projects that I have (lost two, gained one over the last year), ten orginally had the vinyl top.  Only one did not (a black exterior, gold interior 1968 383-2bbl., auto).  One of my friends has three second gens, all vinyl tops, including the one I recently traded to him (69 RT/SE shell)......

I only was allowed one vote on top, so I chose vinyl top.....

Love the experiment, but you may be building a flaw into your data with the title of the thread.

"Vinyl Top Poll" may not catch the interest of a Hard-Top guy.
