It says the rad support stamping and fender tag are missing. I don't see a dash :scratchchin:

The ad doesn't sound flamboyant, so I would think it's a real v-code...... Luckily, the trunk doesn't appear to be missing.............

Potential.........

looks interesting but I'd sure be curious how bad that rust is. I have a hunch rust might be the big setback on that one. Otherwise seems like a good deal and should get snatched up quick.

Looks pretty rough, but someone will get a good deal on it

looks like a legit ad... that being said... with the rad support being missing(why??), i would guess whoever changed out the dash/title isn't aware of the trunk stamping, and knew getting rid of the rad support and fender tag it would be hard to tell if the stuff had been swapped.. before i left with that car, i'd grind down the trunk rail for some numbers, and if the rail is missing/numbers aren't readable/don't match, i'd run FAST!

A lot of people in my younger days just cut the horizontal support structure out in order to make getting the motor out easier.    :brickwall:

Yes that did happen back in the day Troy. I have an original Hemi Car they did that to just because it was easier to pull the motor. Then they threw the support away. I tried to get it but never could.  :brickwall: They were just cars to some people back then not collectors items.

I say it's a 'rebody' or a dash/VIN he's throwing in with that body. If that's the right VIN for that car, there would be absolutely no reason to get rid of the rad support, unless as stated earlier, someone pulled the engine. Now, if the trunk numbers are there, that would blow my whole theory, and she might be a legit car??? If the title matches someone better get on it....

If it's obvious that the trunk drip channel hasn't been modified, then yes, theory blow........

I don't know if the ad says that the rad support is missing, but it might be that the id on the rad support is missing. My 68 never had the number stamped on the rad support, the number is stamped on the trunk rail, however. Someone should check that baby out.
I used to own a mopar because it was different, but now I know better.

charger_fan_4ever

I'm sure i saw this car on craigslist a couple years ago when i was looking for an r/t. I want to say that the ad said the dash had been changed, but had the matching title to the vin but nothing else. Price was higher too.
