Does anyone have a close-up pic of the clips, or know a source for them?  My rubber seal is good, and I'd like to re-use it, but the stapled in clips are all KIA.

I took these reference pics before removing the seal on my 68.

I never had any luck peening over that tabs on the repro seals that come with separate clips. Seems the clips are hardened spring steel, & when I peened over the tabs they just snapped.
IIRC there are repro seals available that have the clips already installed, I think Top Cat makes them?

Thanks for the pics, NHC...

That sucks about the individual clips not working....hmmmm.   I saw the repo seals out there....just like to use as much original as possible.....the $$ are adding up.

If my wife ever puts a calculator to the CC statement, I'm dead.  :eek2:

I'm thinking that a black plastic push-in retainer would work...drill a small hole in the rubber....if the right diameter could be found. :scratchchin:

Try CL or ebay, I've seen the originals on several occasions.
