So I was at this abandoned insane asylum this weekend and walking through it I saw something familiar, a slant 6. It is a Westinghouse /6 powered generator and everything is there. Its pretty cool I didn't know that they used /6's in stuff like this. The place is pretty cool, its a whole village of abandoned buildings, the place was totally self-sustainable. It's literally like one day they decided to get up and leave, there are supplies and beds scattered everywhere. The place is called Letchworth Village.

I wish I could get a car back there but the only way into the factory parking lot is a bridge with barricades in front of it. But I could take pictures in front of the main building that is partially burnt down. Im going back this weekend so I will take more pictures.

I bet you that 6-holed leaning tower of power would fire right up with some fresh gas!

And of course a battery and that missing plug wire...though it might run on 5.

Would be funny to see if any lights come back on.

bordin34

I bet it would with gas and a battery. That generator isn't hooked up to anything its just there, it was probably a backup to the huge oil burning ones they housed in the factory. Here is a website with some pictures the /6 was in the factory.
