Bought a new rear axel for my Charger. The old 8 3/4" sponsored this Dr. Diff/Strange Dana60

I would also like to recommend Dr. Diff to al who are planing on buying a compleat axel or just new parts for their rear axel :2thumbs:
The service you get from Dr. Diff is GREAT!! The webpage is out of date, but check it out at http://www.doctordiff.com/

I ordered the "Deluxe" model. It comes with a Detroit Locker, LPW Ultimate cover, Strange S/T axles, 4.56:1 gears, 1350 Yoke, Discbrakes (inc. braided brakelines and handbrake cables, etc.)

I just recieved my Detriot locker recently and need to have it installed. Going out next week to pull the driveshaft and get measurements. I'll send you a message with the info so you can order yours.  :yesnod:

I'm going with a chromemoly shaft and 1350 joints....gotta make it bulletproof.  :icon_smile_big:

Hope this one will live how ever, its so pretty, kinda shame it will be hidden out of sight under the car..

Ill be looking forward to the info, thanks once again for taking the time to check :2thumbs:

The only thing I would want to whine about, and when I noticed it, it did cause severe nausea, dizziness, angst, etc... :eek2:

There is something truly unholy on something as holy as a MOpar, to have FORD logos on the brake calipers :RantExplode:

Id say so!

Looks amazing!!!

The good thing is unless you have the wheels off im sure no one will notice. Even if they do, its only calipers....better than putting a 9" under a mopar.

Looks great!  Congrats.  :2thumbs:    Dr. Diff is great to work with.   Knows his stuff.

Nothing better than looking under a Charger and seeing a big 'ol Dana hanging under there.   Anything else is a letdown.   I'm letting myself down with the project keeping the 8.75 but I do have something in the parts basement to make it more palatable   :icon_smile_big:

Check your own car...  you might just find a Saginaw steering pump on it among other parts Chrysler bought from GM back in the day.

You must have pushed some serious pills to get the rear. :icon_smile_big: Glad it is finely holding up long enough where you need to upgrade componets. :2thumbs:

Tom, i went and measured for the driveshaft today.  :yesnod:

Center to center of the U-joint on the driveshaft is 51.5 inches long. This was using a 1350 front slip yoke pulled back 1in from the trans tailshaft to allow for suspension travel.  ;)
