Here are pictures of my 13 year old boy's Superbird he got yesterday. He is really excited about being able to get it. Let me know if you like it.

I have to admit, this is the first time seeing anything like this.  Someone did a great job.  Looks great.  :2thumbs:

The guy did a good job. He spent about 20 minutes doing it. He said it was the hardest thing he has ever done on someone's head.
My boy has been wanting to do this for a while. He is super excited about it. It came out a lot better than I expected.

That sounds like a good idea moparstuart. we had a tough time finding a black and white picture of a superbird. they told him to bring a black and white picture of what he wanted shaved into his head. I think it had something to do with being able to shade the shaving.

Sure, Nacho

Even being a nice and artistic job ( really! ), and thanks God is a temporally job... I consider it a stupid thing. And no only because this, because I know LOT of ppl makes that kind of stuff with different motivations.

Sorry, of course no personal, just my opinion and is a generic opinion about that kind of stuff.

I have similar ( but radical ) opinion about tattoes. If somebody will gonna make a tattoo, please something that you HAVE A DEEP FAITH on it, something you REALLY believe, and not talking about religious, anything you want, but something will never be out of your life, must be also in your soul.

Of course this is not the case LOL, but what can I say, use a head like a paint book ? LOL...

I hope not to hurt any feelings. I really like the job, and admire your son with the Superbird passion, but... dunno, a T shirt, jacket or hat is something better doesn't?... at lest this will be just a "fun time" for a while the hair grow up back ;D

Well, its not my favorite but I applaud the artwork in it. If he likes it then that's all that matters. If my boys wanted to do something like that I certainly wouldn't stop them. I can think of so many other things that would be so much worse. Like Nacho says, its not permanent.

Nacho,
I appreciate your opinion. I knew that not everyone would like this. I don't think I would get my head shaved like that. I am happy he is into cars. It is even better that he likes Superbirds.
He is a good kid. It is a temporary thing that will disappear in a few weeks.

I agree.I would rather have him doing wacky things with his hair than some of the stuff that kids do these days.

The guy did pretty good for only taking 20 mins.  First time I've seen a car done.  He might have to carry a little pic of the Superbird around with him to show the other kids what a Bird is.   Most of them and others much older probably don't know.  Bet ya maybe he starts a new fad with his friends
