I've been working a deal for the last few days in regards to buying a 1974 Dart Sport for $100. It's a complete parts car but I can part it out for money and also keep the spindle assembly for my Charger's disk brake conversion. Anyways, I told the guy 3 days ago I would buy the car. Never heard from him until today he emails me telling me a guy came and bought the registration and tags for $200 but the car is still there if I want it. It's like, thanks dude....sell the tags off the car after I tell you I want it. Like does he know someone is probally going to rebody a car with the information!?!?!?! :slap: Oh well, I was planning on parting the car anyways but I was hoping to keep the tags for my registry. On the bright side....I got the guy down $50. :brickwall:

I've found that when buying old cars/parts, you HAVE TO BE "Johnny on the spot" With the money or this sh*t happens....People are just too greedy/needy right now...You let something set for more than a day, be expecting it to either be sold, or parted before you can get back and pay for it...This is why I don't even contact or ask if I'm not in the "Right time, right place, right money, right now"..

Thats my motto with buying stuff off craigslist.  Call, get directions, leave with cash in hand right away!

Good point Neal. There are stamped numbers still on it I assume. It's a Slant 6 '74 Dart Sport so I know all of the numbers except for the sequence number which is stamped.....if the guy didn't take those either.
