I think "badge car" refers to the lack of a tail stripe in which case the large painted chrome letters were on the rear quarter.
v-88 I belive is the code, more often refered to as "stripe delete"

Pretty solid car from New Mexico I have had for quite a while. AC car with 6 way seat. I think it is a half year car because the wiper motor is perpendicular. and well the build date is Feb. '69

Just 6T9 CHGR

Nice stable there Jake...love the T5 Dart.

The 3 speed wiper motor was an available option on all '69 Chargers regardless of build date

Please take the time to register the car

Interesting... the context I recall badge being used in was in reference to the SE badge on the sail panel. Never thought about it this way.

Thank you for the pics. While I know over the years the Gold was not a popular color I must say it is growing on me as a stylish suttle color. I feel the lines of the 69 Charger speak volumes coupled with the R/T badging and the vinyl top.

I am interested to hear from folks on what color you would paint this car? Especially considering the cool high impact Mopar colors of this year.
