Rear leaf spring support question

I have been tearing into my 1972 Charger and this is the worse thing I found so far. The rear bracket that holds the leaf spring on has almost totally rusted away. The other side looks good and the front brackets look good but this one looks like its almost non existent.

Where do I find a new support, is there any place to buy them or does it need to be custom built?

Check in your other thread. I believe its call a rear spring shackle mount and auto body specialties should sell it.

Call them to make sure i have my terminology correct, im not 100% sure but it seems like thats the part.

Thanks... I have bookmarked about 7 sites so far. I would have never found all these body parts without the help of everyone here...

I'd look for someone parting out a 3rd-gen and transplant the whole bracket from the donor car.

Bought my shackle kit from Bill Rolik Enterprises for $48, don't know about the part of the frame that they bolt to though.

I might go this route. I may just cut out both brackets and replace them with sliding brackets.

No problem, I'm not 100% sure the link is for the part you need, I do not know which side you need either, but I'm sure Autorust has the part you need.

I would send that picture to sales@autorust.com
The guy is also a member of the board (called Autorust  ;))
Great guys to deal with.
