If anyone has questions this is my former car. It was a very un-molested car. Mostly original paint, all original top and interior when I bought it. Even had the original dated mufflers and resonators in place, although the head pipes and over axle pipes had been replaced.

I'll be keeping a close eye to see how it does. As there's a little piece of me that misses it.

I remember that car now. :2thumbs: Mike did some real nice work on it last spring bringing it back to spec: http://1970chargerregistry.com/70messageboard/viewtopic.php?t=6120&start=0

Correct, Mike had the top and stripe combination change back to per the data tag and he replaced the dash pad .It was a very presentable  starting base  in mostly original paint and with exception to the trunk floor was completely rust free. I personally just liked the white accents better .

But , Otherwise I did all that you see. After restoring it, I actually regretted it. That was probably one of the best driving cars I've ever had. Nice power to weight ratio , not to nose heavy if you wanted to toss it around in the curves a bit. And really liked to cruise in the 70 mph range on the hiway with the A/C on . It was a 340 with console auto and 3.23 open diff. Once I got it done, it just sat,  my wife refused to drive it after the resto and I was trying to get A+M off the ground so it sadly just sat and became a garage queen which I hated to see,,, so I sold it to Mike.

LA built and spent it's entire life in the original owners hands in San Francisco, CA  area up until about 1998-1999 time frame  . I bought it thru a broker in Grand Rapids MI. in late 1998 or late 99, I can't remember which

Yes, I was asking $32K and sold it for a bit less .
I sold it maybe 3 years ago to Mike aka 472RTSE  He just sold it this past fall. Apparrently the new owner thinks he can make some money on it.

The car was not perfect by any means. From the start it was to be as nice as I could make it without going the full OE route/costs. There were some things that I would like to have had the chance to go back and do differently, But overall I was happy with it once completed.

Here's an underneath shot

IIRC Mike got it late in '05 so a little more than four years. Seems like he did more work on it than driving it; maybe that's why he bought the red Cuda, so he could pound the pavement rather than lay on it with a wrench. :drive: I actually prefer the stock look with the black and blue over the white but to each his own. Sometimes the factory stuff works for me and sometimes it doesn't. In this case it does. Hopefully it'll do well at BJ. I have no idea what the market will bear this year but I can't see it getting too crazy yet.
