Viper Blue would be cheaper & easier to spray. Candy is more exspensive & more difficult to spray. LEON.

I was having the same difficulty when it came to painting my car. Found a sweet Candy Purple Pearl but it took forever to come up with a formula and it was big money. Something else you may want to think about is that most Candy colors are a 3 stage process which results in more labor time and makes it more difficult to touch-up any scratch or mis-hap that might occur.
I found my color at a Good-Guys show when Dupont had their tent there. I was looking for just the right color purple and saw one of their molded models with this awesome purple color on it. Looked much cooler on the model than on the 2x2 paint chip. Just so happened that it was a factory pack color and single stage process. My car got sprayed recently and it looks fabulous.
Hope this helps you out. The candy colors do look great but sometimes you can find a single stage paint that looks just as nice and is more affordable for the budget.
Good luck!!!  :coolgleamA:

Here's Pics of a Candy Red over gold base 1932 5 window coupe I did about 10 years ago. Nice Color. LEON.

Pics of it outside. Nobody wanted to paint this car Candy being so round. Flatter & straighter the car the easier it is. I did it with no zebra stripes, streaks or blotches. Got lucky :scratchchin:  LEON.

If you live near Detroit I got a whole gallon of Viper blue just sitting here waiting to be used. If not anybody else near Detroit want this Stuff? I got this & a gallon of Viper red when I worked at Masco-Tech Painting Vipers & Prowlers, ect, ect way back in the 90's. Seems they bought hundreds of gallons that did not match. Notice on side of this label it say's CUSTOM MIX, NON RETURNABLE.  As a result Masco-Tech was stuck with skids full of hundreds of gallons they could not use or return. Anybody want this? LEON.

Go with the Candy, I don't even like Viper Blue on Vipers (yea, I know, I'm in the minority)
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
