Hey guys -

Thought I'd post these up. We were finally able to do a few things to the Daytona that we didn't get done in the first go round. We've added a new fully functional front spoiler, windshield tabs and rear window straps. The spoiler was tested at speeds of over 130 mph and it's simply amazing how planted the front end is now at speed. Granted these mods are not everyone's cup of tea, but hey, neither is the Daytona. Anyway, thought ya'll would enjoy them.

Cheers - Mike

If it were me (and obviosly its not) I would paint the lower spoiler to match. It would look less invasive then, and kinda blend in.

It's definitely an option to black it out... we'll probably digest the rawness of it right now and then maybe do a bit a photoshop just to see how it looks.

That is sick! All I can say is, when your coming up on me at 130 mph, I'm getting over to let you by. My Lightning max's out at 140 or so, damn it! Lots of people ask me about the Mr. Angry Inc. sticker also, everyday.  :2thumbs:

I vote for painting the front spoiler the same color as the car! It does look good though.

Start a poll thread for it IMO.

Mike, since you do drive all year round, you could make a few extra bucks if you pick up a few snow plowing accounts with that front spoiler, especially here in NY.   :D

They guys who ran that 200mph Viper powered Cuda recently blew the front window trim loose because it had no external clips.

That is one tough looking car! Where did you find the chrome for your back window...i need it! You should do a poll to see what color...it would be fun.

The exterior of that car is just too ridiculous, I like it. The flat black really suits it (although I think I would have not put on the rear stripe). The new front spoiler makes it even more hardcore, great work!

I got news... at 150mph that snow shovel will work wonders  :2thumbs:

Old Moparz

I remember seeing an oval track race on TV once where one of the cars spun out. As the car was sideways & almost ready to go backwards, the front windshield blew out of the window frame & ended up 20 to 30 feet above the pavement. The forced air going into the open window on the side was strong enough to take the windshield out without any trouble. There weren't any clips or straps holding it in place. It landed somewhere in an empty section of the grandstands, people were lucky.  :o

Are you going to do what the Nascar Daytonas did and put a cover over the rear bumper?
It just seems like the next logical step in your Daytona's evolution.

IMO looks great Mike, though it's too pronounced and I'd darken it to balance the overall look,.. it goes with the huge assed tank in the back though pretty well.
