It was almost 40 deg. the last couple of days here in Michigans U.P. I took the opportuinty to start up my Charger and let it run for a while. Boy oh boy do I love the sound of a 340 through repo Hemi mufflers! That was the kick in the pants I needed to spend some quality time in the shop with it and get it ready for summer cruzin.

The only thing I really need to do is remove the drivers door and rebuild the door hinges. It drops just enough to hit the striker a touch low. The pin for the roller on the tension spring is broken as is the spring. I wan't to take care of it before it causes any damage. I don't know of anyone offering reman or new hindges for 3rd gen Chargers. Do any of you? If I rebuild them is anyone intrested in step by step pics?
I may be schizophrenic but at least I have us!

Stretch. Year One sells rebuilt hinge sets as well as offering a hinge rebuild service. '73 is a transition year for the detent system on the lower hinges. Does yours have the coil spring (early) or S spring (late) detent?

If you decide to rebuild them yourself, I would be interested to see step by step photos. I always enjoy a good tutorial.
