Thanks for responding Todd.

First off, if your smiley-thingiy was not an intended "diss" of TDC or sarcasm, as I interpreted, then obviously an apology is in order (darn, is that 6 or 7 so far today, I've lost count).  Anyway, please accept my apology, for that.  And I never intended this thing to take on it's on whole life, like it has, so global universal mea culpa for even logging on yesterday and today.  Don't tell my wife, or I'll loose all computer privileges for the rest of my life.

I appreciate the detailed background/description you have posted.  Details are good - they can be discussed much more readily than general, undetailed or unsubstantiated accusations or snips (on both sides, I will admit).  At this time I don't see a good reason for me personally to address any of the particulars about what did or did not take place regarding El Dorado vs Ardmore vs Boerne and Charger Fever, including timing of the "changes" - I can, if need be, I've got a pretty good memory in that regard, but I just don't see any good it will do (and I just don't want to - I'm tired of typing, and want to eat some lunch).  I would prefer to let Wayne Wooten respond concerning any of that, should he see a need or justification for doing so.  If he wants me to add my recollection, especially concerning timing, I will be happy to do so.

Yes, I have now spoken with Wayne - looks like I was on the phone with him while you were typing your response.   Letting him know what a mess I had caused/gotten into (depending on your view), so he wouldn't be surprised.  I am sure he will read this thread, and if he feels he needs to comment on anything that I have said, or that you and/or chargerboy69 have said, obviously he will.

Sorry to hear that you have felt a need to leave the Charger Fever fold.  Obviously, anything said here yesterday/today by me on this thread could not possibly have led to that occurrance.

Take care.  If you are ever on your way to Sisterdale and have a tire blowout, there will be a spare tire for you to borrow in the trunk of my blue 67 (under all of the stuff, of course), just like there was on your first visit in 1998.

From my point of view, the reasons I don't attend more are because of logistic, finance and caring for my elderly Mother who lives with us now. Otherwise, I'd attend everyone.

yes thats why i liked the multiple city / location events of a few years ago .  Back then we hit three in one year.   Or if like this year with the economy we could hit at least one .  The DSAC / Winged warriors nation meet hit right when the nashville event is , so with me being a wing car guy first and also being the host . There is no way i can hit TDC this year .

Interesting idea, but raises some questions/issues:
1. What am I being punished for?  (many different possibilities, just need some clarification)
2. What makes you think you could even get into the front yard? (might have a gate up by then, if it rains too much the "grass" may be to high to get your cars through [I don't mow!!!!], might not even have a yard/home by then if I don't get the mortgage paid.......
3. Do we really think all of you guys are smart enough to find my front yard??  (That is directed to you fellow Texans that I know personally - think about it, and be honest with yourself!)
4. Have you consider the possible ramifications (to yourselves) if you were to try such a stunt without GERI'S approval (forget about me, she's the one you need to worry about).  And trying to tell her that SHE is being punished for MY sins, well, I definitely wouldn't recommend you try that one!

Anyway, proceed cautiously.

On the other hand, if you charge an entrance fee ...... hmmmmmm ...... mortgage payment solved.

Wes,, everyone will follow me. Kim and the kids will be welcomed guests of Geri.......... You'll just stand out front with the look of total amazement. I know exactly how to get to your house (unless you've moved since the last time I was there, which I doubt).

True, on so many levels (I don't really mean anything profound by that, it just sounds cool and sofisticated, doesn't it?).

But I'm sure I'll keep making enemies anyway, I've always been good at it.

And James, I've never really had any problems with you before, why have you felt the need to throw in with the likes of Troy?  I had higher hopes for you!

Jerzy -

That wasn't a look of amazement, it was a combo of shock, fear, and horror.

Concerning your driving directions, I believe the correct version was "start in Jersey, go south 1400 miles to Boerne, GPS tells you to turn right, so turn right and go until you need gas, realize that the GPS meant to say the other right, go back to Boerne ......." or something like that, right?

If all goes according to plan, we will see you in Nashville in June, can't wait.

(And since when did you promote yourself to Worthy status?)
