Well gang I was bored and searching for public records, like criminal & property info. I found a few places that didn't want $39.95 but I feel like I am missing the good stuff.

  Anyone?

BTW if you don't like the idea it's the same as porn, don't look\search for it

The question is: where can you get public records for free?

Uh, they are public... :P

What's the question?

It's an implied question, meaning do you have any links to sites that have public records?

Links are what I wanted but I guess it has to be spelled out for the slower members.

Usually public records are available for free if you go to the court clerk in whatever jurisdiction the record is kept. Obviously that's a lot of work. If you want a quick one stop place to get information you will have to pay.

Thanks Telvis,   that is what I found out, however I found a link that has some places, I'll post it so others can see what I am talking about.

Web savy counties in many states have something similar on their Web sites.
