A short Calif. video of a ride today - Salutations to my snow-bound friends

Just a quick hello to my snow-bound friends across the USA. I took the '68 to the market to get a few groceries (at least once a week I drive her) and recorded a few, heartfelt words on the spur of the moment. I love the snow, but I love to go home after I'm done playing in it. My hat is off to all you cold, 4-season Charger owners.  :2thumbs:

Heh, heh, whenever those "others" rag on "the land of fruits and nuts" all I can say is....eat your heart out.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I haven't been able to make a left turn my 68 since 2006, or a right turn for that matter. I am hoping to make all kinds of turns this summer out on Woodward Ave. though. Thanks for the inspiration Dan, I'm heading back down to the basement to polish and straighten chrome (and listen to the furnace run every five minutes).

Hey Dan.....here's what I say to your video!!! :icon_smile_big: :nana:

Hmm, I didn't see any snow there. But it did look like a nice day for a ride. And let us be honest...Vancouver (Surrey, to be exact) is not really in Canada. Being less than 10 miles to the U.S. border, it is kind of like Washington north.   :icon_smile_wink:

That photo is dated last year!     It seems like you do get the white stuff there occasionally, though.  :icon_smile_wink:

Ohio 40 * ,sun popped out.  Jumped on the Valkyrie, rode 5 miles into town ,got gas, then home. Enough of that silly s##t. Colder then it looked.

Fired up the Charger and headed for a Buddy's house about 8 miles away. B-S-ing in his garage and ribbing him about how his Nomad stays inside when it's cold when I looked out the window. Snowing like hell. Headed for home, probably just a little snow shower. Right! , Ohio remember. About half an inch deep when I pulled in the garage.

Hey it's a rough, tough Midwest Mopar, seen snow before. Not like those sissy California cars.   :nana:

:hah:  :brickwall:

I'm glad you got to drive it, but I feel for you driving the 8-mile trip home in a snowstorm. As long as you got back safe it is good, just another good story to share. Just don't blame me.   ;D

And my '68 originally came out of Oklahoma, so it does have some grit.  :icon_smile_wink:
