68 charger - heat wave in chicago

It reached a wopping 39 degrees here in Chicago today so I took my car for a spin.  Attached you will find some pictures of the engine compartment with the new 440 source heads, the shifter of my new tremec transmission and the dash with red line gages.  Can't wait till summer!

Same temp here in Ct and I just made a coffee run.  Awesome car.  That's some radiator there, was it designed to cool a army tank?  :icon_smile_wink:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

i think they are OK for the money.
i changed only the heads and gained around 35hp and 35tq, and saved 40lb.

I see that everyones starting to get edgy about being home bound with there chargers. lol

I know I am. I sure would like to get mine out for a jaunt. Unfortunately it's not the weather keeping me home bound. It's lack of brake hardware.
