finally got the funds to change the gearing in my 70 Charger 500...anybody know of reputable shops in the Portland, oregon area? thanks

If you have an 8 3/4 you can always look around and find another 3rd member with a different gear set

oops, should have provided more detail...I have the 8 .25 with 2:45 ratio...would prefer to avoid an axle and driveline swap and just change the gears..it's a mild build 383 and just want a little more snap, thanks

Charger 500 with a 8 1/4... Interesting. It would probably be less of a hassle to find a decent 8 3/4 already set up.  There is this mopars crap yard near mt. Hood.. Can't think of the name. Its off the 26 and in the woods if I remember right.  They would definately have it
