Lesson: Mojo knows his metal.

I dont do much "blind" (or should I say 'deaf') buying anymore...in fact, I dont really buy CD's anymore. But back in the day, before P2P or MP3 were household words, I'd be reading Hit Parader or Metal Edge and Slash would say in an interview "T. Rex is a f**ing awesome band", so I'd go to the Warehouse (remember those?) and buy me a T. Rex CD.

Yes. I discovered one of my favorite bands that way. I was looking through the cut out cds at Best Buy and seen 3 cds by the german hard rock band VICTORY. I never heard of them by name, I bought the cds just because I thought they had a cool look to the band and because they reminded me of the Scorpions. Turned out I knew 2 songs that were power ballads that had some air play that I liked, but I never heard the name of the band. But over all, their harder songs rock!!! I never heard any of their hard stuff on the radio, so I figure that might be why they never made it big over here. They were huge in the European countries. They kinda sound like a mix of Kiss, Def Leppard, AC/DC, Scorpions, meets Judas Priest. http://www.victory-music.com/

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.
