Looks like the wheel arches are cut out.  There was an 80's black Bird in SW Wisconsin like that with those style mags.   It had the wheel openings enlarged.  It is now back to stock except it is painted Panther Pink.

Mopar John

There was a guy out of Lafayette, Indiana back then that brought a black Superbird to one of the meets in Indy. It also had the rear wheel openings cut out. May be the same car. I'll have to see if I have a picture of it?

The paint and especially the rear stripe reminds me of Sal Tovella's race car.

I took that picture and it was Tulsa 1976. The 71 Cuda and the flamed Dart are all from the same show.
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.

When I was growing up MOST muscle cars were HOT RODS with BIG rubber out back and so on.When I see all these cars now bone stock they just don`t look right.Just my 2 cents. My favorite of all was the old Petty blue and STP red hemi daytona of Jim R.Man I loved the look of that car.
Previously owned Daytona XX29L9B423239 - f8 - white int. - power windows.

The car we know painted red and blue Hemi Daytona XX29J9B409076.At this 1975-1976 time in the article the mileage on the car was 17171.5..I believe this was a original F6 car.And it hast been seen in this old known form .Any chance the F6 Hemi daytona that Ken Funk now has might be the old Jim Radke daytona form.Restored to stock form
