Now all is coming toghter. Have started the car with the new fuel lines and the new carbs.
Some leakage but after some turns with the tools it was good.

Also install some new gauges and a drive shaft loop. Really like the Metco loops - have one on my charger to. They fit awesome!

The only thing who is left to do is to install the moroso battery disconnect switch. And probably 1000 things more in time.

Happy holidays!

I'm not on earliers 60s mops ( beside Seneca/Phoenix ), I never like the basic and plain dash they got, but this car looks great made!

just a question, shouldn't be the driveshaft loop closer to the axle side instead closer to tranny... I'm ignorant on this but my logic says that :shruggy:

No Nacho,

If the rear joint breaks its gonna suck. If the front joint breaks, its not only going to destroy the tunnel, but also hit the ground...that could cause some even major damage, thus the loop being closer to the tranny.

Ghoste

If you have a u-joint failure near the rearend, the driveshaft should typically slide out the rest of the way at worst.  If you lose the front u-joint, the driveshaft will bounce around and cause all sorts of damage sometimes even coming up through the floor.  I've broken a front and a rear and even though neither was what I'd call fun, I'd only describe losing the front one as a "violent" experience.

That is one great looking SS Plymouth, a total Classic! I all ways loved a white with red gut automobile...
I'd be interested in it's future exploits and any more details you care to share.

Many years ago now,.. I was eating at a front window seat at a cafe, on John Daily Blvd. when a red '70s Corvette coasted down the hill at a pretty good clip attempting to make the gas station directly across the street from me,   the drive shaft had somehow become disconnected and was hanging down in front, only occasionally dragging and letting loose sparks dust and an ugly racket, the pretty young blonde steering had worked up enough momentum that she seemed about to coast easily right up to the garage bays, but just then - the drive shaft caught the lip of the driveway curb, the Chevy kinda pole vaulted up and the rear of the fiberglass body behind the young lady cracked and lifted free of the chassis when the car stopped dead. She emerged shreikng and pulling at her hair. It was indeed quite ugly.  :eek2:

Jesco

We use to call it pole vault  :eek2:

Thanks for all nice comments

this is the one i was thinking of,

i have an original in my rear window. though i could see one in either your wing windows or the rear quarter glass. i don't like this other style because of the ugly discordant yellow blue red color combo...

[imghttp://www.cartype.com/pics/1629/full/mopar_sign.jpg[/img]http://there's also these...

also,..  the mdern LED shift light and modern gauges,. on/under your dash spoils the classic early '60s effect, can you come up with a better or hidden solution?..  :shruggy:

Jesco

Really like the first sticker but the moon thing have never been a favorite...
Love cars with grafics like the "hemi honker"...

The gauges is clean looking SW. Love Bob Mosher and his builds, he uses theese gauges.

About the tachometer is hard to find one. The 5" monsters are to big and...
Wheels and gauges can keep you sleepless  ;)

i was thinking a classic Sun tach it would be cool with a decal..

just kicking  ideas around... it's fun, but your wheels are perfect!  :2thumbs:

Jesco

I use those (sun) gauges before. Didn't like how the tach was located.
Maybe could use it on the same place that the SW tach/shift light is mounted right now...

Like vintage stickers like the sun and more but want to keep the car clean. Maybe I couldn't hold back after have seen all classic stickers. ;)

Today I install a Moroso battery disconnect switch. Think I find a stealt place to have it mounted.
Also get some pictures from the garage. The car really needs a wash after all engine work and moving it around in the aweful spring season here in Sweden.

What do you guys think of my scooter, Monark Compakt 50cc
Should I maybe update my information. charger r/t, 330 super stock and Monarken :icon_smile_big:
