Tach harness - where to pass through the firewall?

Hi everyone,

I bought a Charger Specialties tach (just the tach, not the tic-toc) to replace my clock. I also got the wiring harness for it which comes with a big rubber grommet.

Where do I pass it through the firewall? The grommet looks like a factory type style. Is it above the bulkhead connector?

Thanks!

Excellent close up, I appreciate it. Got a step drill and a hole saw today. I hope to run the wires tomorrow.

Thanks again!

Finally ran the wire!

7/8" hole saw worked perfect. It was nice to see that the firewall insulation pad had a pre stamped cut out for the grommet location. Made it easy. Also the harness from Charger Specialties fit perfect.

Thanks again for the help guys.

Ever seen a cleaner firewall?

Not too exciting I know, but works great. Doing the gauge bezel now, installation soon. I did hook up the tach and run the car, worked great with a jumper to ground it.
