Some one welded in a plate to try to fix the door on my 1970 Charger the door sags so I believe it it in the hinges not a big dael right? Well som goof ball put this plate on the door jam how do i fix this?

that's a good step by step repair with good pictures. i might have to do this repair on my 68 charger. the hinges are worn and make my door sag also i'm sure the striker plates are kinda flimsy like they said.

Fix the hinges. Someone before me just left it bad and now I need upper door pads because it rubbed for so long,sad part is they are pretty nice except for this. :brickwall: :shruggy:

I just installed their LH door latch repair on my car. Very slick and easy to do. Just keep it cool while welding.

That area is prone to cracking.....but that was a real sloppy repair....i have a Mopar mag around here somewhere that shows how to properly repair that
