Is there VIN/Dealership/Original Owner info on every Daytona?

The reason I'm asking is because there was a lady in my hometown that bought one brand new from the dealership back in the day.  The car should've been sold in the Panama City, Florida area (I think the dealership was called Rodger's Dodge)

There is a shiplist with 501 daytonas and most dealers .Also I located actual ads for the aero cars through internet newspaper archives.I found a ad for Dixie Dodge out of Panama City FL.I will see if I have one under Rodgers dodge.Its possible that these cas were dealer swapped

I did this a while ago using the daytona shiplist that was in my newsletters

69 Daytona list per state totals going from the current standing list number to date #501 cars from pages supplied in my club newsletter that shows the new car shipments for 69 daytonas and locations shipped to Including serial numbers and dealer number and dealer location. Dixie Dodge in FL was shown to have received one Daytona, 379735.  As Dave mentioned, it was always possible that the car was dealer-swapped before selling initially, but the shipping list points to them having at least received one new Daytona.  Were there multiple Dodge dealerships in Panama City back then?

I got the shiplist on CD going to look thru the 16 Fl daytonas as I recall and see if the dealer is in there.But my idea was to see what ads I could research and find .Ad see if they jive with the shiplist info

Well this is awesome!  My dad said that it was always rumored to have been bought from Rodgers Dodge.  My dad doesn't remember Dixie Dodge, but definitely remembers Rodgers being around in 1970.  However, my grandfather definitely remembers Dixie being around, and he was in his twenties around that time, so I trust his word on that.  The Daytona that I was questioning about was definitely an "orange looking" color and had a 440 & automatic on the floor.  Is there any way of knowing if the car is still around or in Mopar Heaven?

Out of the 16 Daytona for FL on the shiplist. I find none at Rodgers Dodge.I also looked up the not complete dealer list from Fl dealers for Rodgers Dodge no luck there either
