Well you learned plenty on your trip I bet and if you can continue to save your money I think you will find that Charger next time. (15 - 20K) Don't wait to long we need the money! :icon_smile_big:

That's the plan!  :2thumbs:

I'm hoping to find something soon, I'd really love it if i could cruise my very own Charger this summer  :coolgleamA:

Well, now everything's back to normal.
Could barely find my car under the snow that had fallen in the last
two weeks, then drove 200 miles up north to where i work.
On the drive back home from work it was around -26C (-14F),
a bit different climate compared to California  :icon_smile_cool:

Anyways, I wanna take the opportunity to thank the really
friendly people we met during our trip, we had a great time!

Sean, a.k.a. 69charger440
Kim, a.k.a. last426
Dave, a.k.a. Brock Samson
Thank you all so much for your hospitality, you guys rock!

It's been a great vacation, and I've learned a lot.
I'm definitely going over there again!  :2thumbs:

Sure, here's one

It runs and drives, but hadn't passed smog. Hence the flatbed :)

Hi guys!

Brock Samson thought I should update my thread, so here we go!

Obviously, I hoped to find a car during our trip to the U.S, but that didn't happen.
Later on, I started emailing Troy about a car he had for sale.
Probably hundreds of e-mails were sent back and forth, and I looked at a whole bunch
of pictures of the car.
Finally, I decided to go ahead and break my piggybank  :yesnod:

I transferred the money overseas, and then came months of waiting.
I felt kinda nervous sending that much money to someone I've never met,
to buy a car I've never seen... But I decided to take a chance.

The car finally arrived in Sweden late July 2010 if I remember correctly.

Y'all want pictures?  :icon_smile_big:

These pics were taken by Troy the day the Charger was picked up and headed
for the harbor.

Some pics from the day I picked it up...

Well whaddayaknow, it can do burnouts  :icon_smile_big:

DanneP

That's all folks!

Right now the car is in a garage where it will sit for a couple more months until
the snow melts away.
I have some modest plans for it, so we'll see what happens when it's time  :yesnod:

Nice. I knew that you bought Troy's R/T (I recall a battery problem?  ;D ) but it is always nice to see it again. And you couldn't have picked a better person to deal with.

DanneP

Thanks for the kind words guys  :yesnod:

As for my plans, I have a photoshopped picture of how I want it to look.

The photo and the car are owned by 36 Dodge Brothers,
and ds440 did the photoshopping.

On my to-do list for the upcoming season:
-Get it lower
-Black steelies
-White letter BFG's
-Smaller diameter steering wheel
-Seat belts
-Front disc brakes

And that's about it.. This summer will be sort of an evaluation period,
so my list might be longer later on  :yesnod:

DanneP

Crap, I forgot to add the picture to my previous post.......  :brickwall:

Great looking car it was a heck of a journey. Looks like it was worth it. Have a great day!

Piston_Freddy

Excellent idea and photoshop! For a minute I was worried that your gonna chipfoose the shit out of that poor thing! Get some old school looking steering wheel  - check interior section! You don't have seat belts in there? Keep it old school!

Well the old school look is just for this summer, next year I'm getting 24" rims and lambo doors!  :coolgleamA:

*edit*
Well this thread became awfully quiet... Don't worry, I'm not going to pimp my ride  :nana:

Brock Samson

any of you guys know if there's a way Daniel can add the "Charger" scripts to the roof without drilling holes?.. can the existing pinned type be attached with adhesive?.. if the pins are removed?.. Anyone done this?..
