what back space are the wheels  :popcrn:   , 8  & a 1/2 inch ,  is too wide , i'm thinking with stock fender wheel lip & inner brace ! also going to hit on the  rear inner frame rail at full lock   :scratchchin:  also becareful if you do get it filling , i would check the bound & rebound of the front suspension & all steering angles , as the fender lip might be too close to the tire wall & could shred the tire  :Twocents:  , would be better with 7 or if you do some accurate measuring  with back space  & 8 inch wheel  ,  with a 235 , 245 even maybe a 255 tire , remember to measure both sides

hmmm yeah i see what your saying  , also have to watch the wheel coming in contact with the upper control arm outer edge where the ball joint is screwed in  ,  although this is not so much of a problem if you going larger than a 15 inch wheel diameter ,
some of the guys here are running a big wheels up front , perhaps they can help more  , but to me its  doubtful they are going to fit  :Twocents:
   :popcrn:

about the widest on the front  i'm thinking is a 255 on a 8 inch wheel with 4 inch back space ,( very tight , for my liking ), or 3 & 7/8"s of a inch &  use a spacer to take almost 4 " need to mesure accuratly  235 tire wouldbe better  :Twocents: ,  all the above what i have found , is my opinion  to be safe , not having the tire sitting  under the fender , quarter  lip & allowing the suspension full travel ,  :Twocents:

If they are old Vectors, the 8.5 rim will be fine on the front because they adjusted the backspacing. If they are the new reissued Vectors, they will not work because they kept them the same backspacing as the 7" rims.
