Over a foot of snow.. My truck's at the dealer with a busted up transfer case. My brand new plow's sitting here ready to use with nothing to hook it up to  :slap: . My brand new (end of last season) Ariens 13HP snow blower had two snapped sheer pins  :brickwall: and the lock to get into my shed was completely frozen  :slap: ... That's how the day started...

But... Two hours later, two new sheer pins and 5 people helping clear the snow (we are responsible for 300' of sidewalk, too..) it's clear!!

Here's the view off my 3rd floor deck.

OK, I've had enough... Is it Spring yet?

You guys get snow this weekend? Post pics!!

At least the General is warm and dry ;)
We're only going to end up with 2-4 ", I'm 1 hour north of Boston.

Two weeks ago we had a heavy rain storm at work, my wife called and said we had 8" of heavy wet snow at home and she had trouble getting the Jeep up our road (private dirt road). I thought no way I'm only 20 minute south of home. She wasn't joking. Real fun plowing 1/2 mile of dirt road with the ground not frozen.

How did you manage to break your transfer case on your brand new truck??

Yes... Well, no... Well, here's the deal.. I have been hearing this loud CLUNKING noise while backing up the past two weeks. I brought it to the dealer. They couldn't get it to make the noise... So I demonstrated it for them this week... The noise is CLEARLY coming from the rear differential. I'm thinking worn gears... They said it's coming from the transfer case and are going to completely rebuild the unit (my truck's not brand new). Ok, fine.. I told them to go ahead, and when they discover that's NOT the problem they can rebuild the rear end, too...  :brickwall:

Still some snow left from last week, mid to upper 30's. And raining. Lot's of rain.

At least we get to see what a pink General looks like.  :popcrn:

 A friend of mine said the same thing... It's all in the IPhone.. I'm looking at the monitor now and it definitely doesn't look pink..  It's also the fact that I only have one 8' fluorescent light on over the rear of the car...

Just a dusting here in dayton Ohio.

I could always hook my Z back up to my plow like I did two seasons ago.

I don't know, maybee.. Looks like you'll need to cut out a sun roof to stick your head out of and stick several phone books on the driver seat just to see over the blade.

 I posted this on the Corvette forum a couple of years ago. You wouldn't believe it , but I had people all over me for "doing this to my Vette". It's a JOKE!!!  :slap:  :smilielol:

That's funny. They couldn't tell it's not even hooked up?

No.. And that's what I told them... "Stevie Wonder can see it's not even chopped. I'm pulled about 6" away from the assembly!". I went as far as playing along by saying I filled the trunk area with cement before a couple got really bent out of shape..

bordin34

We got about 8" here, I took the Charger out for some pictures and couldn't get back up the driveway. My K-frame was pushing the snow and my power steering belt was slipping a lot. I eventually made it in my garage after snow blowing the driveway.

Over 2 feet of snow at my house this past week here in Alaska. More to come for sure, it's only late December, not April yet!
Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

In general Vette owners have no sense of humor.

We've got a good 12"-14" of snow down here in south central, PA. I've got my truck but I don't have a plow or a blower. So I'm going to spend the rest of the day with a shovel in my hand clearing the driveway. Is it April yet?

Very Funny, but that plow is not hook up man  :icon_smile_wink:, I can tell by afew things just from looking at the photos. The front of your car and the plow has a block under the center of the unit holding the rear of the plow up. Nice try though bud

By the way, we got hit with 3 inches the other night also. But I hate to say this by we do have more coming.

camera system is nice. Now you need hounds and have "release the hounds" button next to monitors :)

Thanks man, with what you just said, it reminded me of the old 1980s something cartoon show "The Pound Puppys".

I barely had a dusting... if you'd even call it that.    I gassed up the Toro for nothing  :shruggy:

I figured I'd be snowed in so I didn't bother setting the alarm for work...  so I went in anyway after 9am.

Anything north of I-84 in NY got almost nothing.

Very true, I spent more time gathering up things in the yard expecting them to be buried until spring than shoveling.

We got about an inch of powder.

We got maybe an inch here on Friday. We mainly had sleet here but, if you go about 20 minutes north they got about 5 inches of snow. They are saying we could see some snow for Thursday and Friday tho.

As nice as this Charger is I hope you plan to keep it out of that salt and snow :o Doesn't take long at all for that salt to eat it alive.
