Diggin' the blacked out wheels - how about going with some Basset Nascar steelies with white lettered tires.  :Twocents:

:iagree: My favorite look out of them all. Nothing looks more badass than black wheels on a black Mopar.

Don't know where you are located  :shruggy: and maybe its just California but you may want to check up on laws regarding tint in your area. I was going to go out and tint my windows on the Charger and thought that there was just regulation on the level of tint (however they measure it), It turns out laws on amount/degree of tint only refers to back window and rear seat windows. Any driver side, passenger side (Front) or windshield is against the law (in CA). The Chips pulled me over in my other car for the driver and passenger side tint.

After reading up on the laws here it turns out I can only tint the rear window which looks stupid by itself  :eyes:. or if I want to add the back roll down windows as well I have to add a passenger side mirror. If you can't tint it all, (except windshield) why tint it at all  :Twocents:.

I really like the black 70 wheels on there. Looks like a vintage nascar :2thumbs:

the first set of wheels wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have those dots all around, I don't know what you call those? why do a lot of modern wheels have those? I was looking at wheels and saw plenty I would like on my car in the future, IF ONLY those dots/circles weren't all around the rim. Makes me think a kindergartner pasted them all to make it look "pretty".

Those aren't dots, I do belive they are beads or rivits, to hold the center in?

Really like the black steelies, if the car was primer, would look crap, but with the nice paint, looooks sweet.  How about black steelies on the silver render? :scratchchin:

No worries about any US laws - he's in the Netherlands.

If you really want your car to stick out, you got to go with custom rims, just like everyone else.

I will 2nd that one.

They're isn't anything wrong with the original look of the 2nd gens so why put ugly rims and so call low pros on a charger. Someone if going to do this and go through a area where there is a speed bump at and guess what someone is going to be loosing power probably and damaging there underside of the car bad  :smilielol:.

Rolling_Thunder

Honestly guys - I like the look of larger wheels / tires on Chargers - not any more than old 15" wheels - but maybe as much...    I will NEED to run them for brake clearance - but if you're sticking with old original brakes - I would just run 15" wheels...

Bigger wheels look fine as long as they have enough "lip" on them so that they have that deep dish look to them

I think the best looking chargers are the ones with low profile tires,,, I'm talking 17's, 18's not 22's but still. 2 say that they all look gay is crazy  :Twocents:. I had 15in cragars on my '69 and went with lowprofiles and love it. I'm 18 so maybe my opinion is a little biased  :nana:

Well, this is just me, but if I bought a charger with dub things on, I would ask the old owner to please remove them from the car because if I got them, I get red of them clown things and go with american looking stuff and go with what the cars would have had on that looks more right for the car and gives them more style and not more bling. Something about 18's and up to me just doesn't at all look right on cars. To me it looks like folks are trying to reinvent the wagons  but with a engine though this time around.
