We had a blow up Santa for the past few years and one night when we turned the lights and everything off, it snowed majorly and buried Santa...he never blew up again :lol:

thats why they say in the instructions that you should clear off any snow or ice before having them get inflated.  Its a pain in the ass but for the price of what those damn inflatables are, I can only afford them once.

Well, in the morning I cleaned all the snow off of him but it never worked again.

Bummer,  wondering if maybe the small glass fuse inside the plug may have popped.

Who knows....we had a little penguin too and the same thing happened to it but it worked fine afterwards.

I didn't think too much of it when I discovered him gone - other than, "What else are they poking around in?" - but she reminded me that even though it's a piece of plastic with a light bulb in it, he's a pretty unique piece in the sense that we have never seen one like around here. The most unique thing is that he's holding a real kid's snow shovel - wood handle and all.

She also reminded me that we've had him for over 20 years. The kids have always measured themselves against him to see how tall they are. Two grand daughters are well past that now. Our grandson is just about to get "taller than Frosty" and his baby sister will never have the chance.

She actually called the police and reported it and then made me walk around the immediate neighbourhood to try and find him. I figured if it was kids goofing around, it'd be in the park, so I went that far and called off the search. :D

Post a "REWARD" sign in your front yard.......or put up "Stolen Frosty" posters....now you should post photos here so we can start our national search for Frosty! Someone knows something!  :scratchchin:

My wife reported it and waddya know... got a call from the police tonight.
Someone found a Frosty on their front yard and called it in. They sent a car over to pick it up.
It's the only one they've found and we're the only one who filed a missing snowman report and he was found in our area. So, while it's not certain that it's our Frosty, the odds are pretty good.

My wife has to go to the station tomorrow morning and claim it.  :smilielol:

We're pretty sure there's some chuckling going on at the station right now. i know I was laughing my ass off. You'd swear she lost a puppy or something.
At the same time, it'll be a feel-good story for the constables and officers involved.

Glad to hear that you got it back, potentially.  I think that my dad had one like that years and years ago, it was a snow man with a small red kids shovel and a red handle and shovel head. 

Working for a police dept, I can just imagine what jokes were being thrown around about the person calling in the recovery.  Worse yet it is if they ask you to describe it and you wife says well, depending on the weather, he might be a big pile of water right now. :smilielol:

My wife just got in the door. It's Him!

When she went to reception at the station, she said she was there to claim some property. The receptionists asked, "Are you the snowman lady?"  :smilielol:

She brought a box of chocolates as a thank you, but they had to refuse them. They had a food drive bin, though, so it was put in there.
