Exhaust Poll! - Resonators or not

I'm a newbie to this forum and to restoring Mopars in general............wondering what all of you think about resonators?  Also, any good suggestions on mufflers to helping this 440 sound as mean as it is?!   Thanks for the input!

Welcome to the site Rich! Your question depends on what you're trying to do to the car. If you're restoring it stick with a bone stock exhaust system. There's nothing like the sound of a big block mopar through stock exhaust. Maybe some of the other members will chime in on this. Good luck!

WELCOME NEWBIE!  If I could....I'd put stock pipes-hemi mufflers and resonators on my 440 today (with 14 gauge pipes) just because I love that mellow rumble.  But near as I figure that's a grand I don't have yet!

I agree go with the stoick system but if doing a resto mod or something in that nature- go with what u like
I went 3" alum pipes with spintech mufflers- really nice sound and when I take off it really sounds nasty- many people tell me how my Charger sounds

longtube headers through 3 inch pipe to flowmaster 50 series suv mufflers- gives a low cruise volume but loud and authoritive when you stand on teh throttle,
