So how do you de-thaw a freezer while studying for finals when you only have 2 hours to devote to each?
Unplug it and empty that drip tray every 2 minutes?
No too much work.
Throw a towel in the bottom and let nature do its work right?
Naw too crude.

This is what I came up with.
Take that tiny joke of a drip tray and flip it over.
Take a bit of ductape and make a ridge around 3 of the edges.
Prop up the back side of the fridge so it is angled forward.
Place a small waste paper basket in front of the tray.
Clip on a desk lamp to the door and point it into the freezer.
Continue to drink, er, study!!

Yet another example of how an engineering student can make something so simple so complex.
Can I just graduate already?

I've done almost the same thing for Marine Corps field day before> Only problem was I had to buy a cooler to keep the Sam Adams cold while I was waiting.
