Might be late to thread but it takes a back place to none.

Thanks guys,  it looks pretty good for a "shade-tree" restoration. My friend did the lions share of the work (except the engine was done in a pro shop) and did a magnificent job!  He is an artist with a welder and handles a paint-gun pretty good also!  (It is painted R6 just as from the factory) with single-stage acrylic enamel similar to the factory paint and it came out great.

The pictures do not show it very well but the body creases and gaps are straight as an arrow and uniform on both sides!

It's red yes,but in the dark with the light on it looks orange  :scratchchin:
