 yup a russian test where thge third stage failed - fifth time out of eight for these rockets,.. the blue means it was gas ans the spiral was because of the spinning effect it achived like a firework in the upper reaches of the atmosphere.

If the Ruskies could figure out a way to do this on purpose it'd make for a helluva fireworks show. But I guess 5 out of 8 tries is a pretty good average.
