Should I Alodine my carb?

Is that what Holley does?  The color of their carbs looks like Alodine 600 or 1200.  Alodine 1000 is clear, and would be what I would use.  If you don't know, Alodine is a chromic acid anti corrosion chemical conversion treatment for aluminum similar to anodizing, but without electricity.
