I want to thank all of the people that helped with answering questions that I had with my engine  :2thumbs:. I am very pleased with the outcome the motor sounds great. Again thanks and enjoy a few videos that my friend took, poor quality but it sure does sound good even with the stock exhaust can't wait to get the TTI exhaust system installed.

Always something special about the yellow on black California plates.  When I went to register my '68 Charger R/T, they made me turn in the original plates, which I knew they would, so I removed them before driving down to the DMV.  I still have them, but not the car.  I'm in Washington now, and they let you assign any plate matching the year your car was built.  For instance, in 1969, the plate would have been green on white.  They made that style plate from 1968 to 1986, so there are tons of them out there, since Washington makes you replace your plates every few years, and they don't collect the old ones.  It only costs $25, you don't need to display one in front, you don't need a month and year sticker, and you only do it once.  Lifetime registration for $25.  I hear they do something like that in California, now, but it's a total pain in the ass dealing with their bureaucracy.  In Washington, the DMV is privatized.  I'm in and out in 5 minutes.  In Cali, it always took at least an hour, and then, they send you to this window, then that one...  Idiots.  So what cam and compression?

Black plates with the dealer frame (Pacifica Middleton Dodge)

My Dad purchased the car from a teacher in Pacifica, Ca back in 73' & moved it to San Francisco. He gave it to me in 84' when I turned 18 & in 2003 when I got married I moved the car back into Pacifica where we purchased our home. The neighbors can't believe it when they see that license frame, it brings them back to a different time. From what I understand the dealership closed in the early 80's, it's kind of funny, I might be the only person living in Pacifica that has a car that was sold out of that dealership.

What's up Dan! Thanks for your kind words but still needs paint and interior work. As for the tires they are 245/60 with a 15x8 wheel in front and 275/60 with a 15x10 in the rear.

That is a mean looking '68. I do like the orange with black steelies.... Now, paint that radiator core support black so that grille looks meaner from the front...........  (constructive observation, I'll shut up now...... )

That's inspirational about the car being in the family..........    :2thumbs:

I like the black wheels too.  The car looks great!

Thats a great looking car. The color looks a shade or two lighter than General Lee orange. The pictures taken from the right side show alot of negative camber, maybe 1.5 degrees? Hows your tire wear? I like the stance. It has a great NASCAR sort of vibe.
Are you driving it to Spring Fling in Van Nuys?

It's getting aligned this weekend, It only has 50 miles on it so no visible wear on the new tires yet.

No Spring Fling. The car has never been out of the Bay Area I think the farthest the car has been is from San Francisco to the San Jose Flee Market and that was back in the late 70's when my dad owned the car.
