Just looking for a quick answer...

In traffic driving... if (usualy there is) a meathead on the road not watching and you gotta get on the break real quick or else u will have an accident...

If hte cars manual breaks vs power breaks are you destined for the crash or both are equally as safe just one is 'easier' to press though the breaking ability is the same (if both pressed same distance both break the same just manual requires more leg effort to push the same distance than when its assisted - power break)

I remember hearing someone say power breaks is a saftey feature but if all it does is help u press the break a certain distance rather than making the breaks work harder than i dont see the logic in it.

The effect is a boost to the master cylinder so if your leg was big enough no change to the wheels.

so 5" pressed on the break power of manual is identical breaking capacity... just manual you wuld need samson legs to press it that far while power make it easy to go that far...?

If thats the case I will option for manual. WIll help my leg workout  :smilielol:

Manual brakes are fine... just harder to operate at any given speed.

Manual brakes apply the same stopping power.....It just takes more pedal effort(you need to push harder) and its not like you need to be a body builder to have manual brakes, I prefer them myself.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior

Well I found out my one had manual breaks after I went through a T section turning left and ending up on wrong side of road... lucky no cars were there... I was pressing break and car wasnt slowing down... and subconciously im thinking "Im pressing so hard its gonna lock up!" (used to power breaks) so off i went right through no stopping..  :smilielol: :slap: :icon_smile_blackeye:

The faster your moving, the harder it is to stop... I'll keep my power brakes, I'm spoiled
