I agree, folks give GL owners hell, but a GL can easily be painted back to stock. This car is ruined. Expensive hack job.

Same here.

But who ever did it did at least put some effert into it though.

The car isn't ruin like some had said though. They do make new repro parts that you can use now days unlike in the old days. So this charger is refixable really.  :2thumbs:

:iagree: Not my cup of tea! I do appreciate the workmanship and time it took to build that thing but I'm not a huge fan. The front end looks funny to me and I don't like the way it sits. Like I say, why mess with perfection.

I think I saw that car in a Muscle Car Review recently. I think it has a Magnum Force front end.

I can appreciate all the work that went into the car, I just do not like the front end much. I do want a chin spoiler like his tho, I just think someone went way too far with smoothing that car down.

IIRC that is a 528 Hemi, Ill have to grab that magazine tomorrow when I get home to be sure

I like it. its clean and not too overdone. The front bumper though looks a bit odd to me, how it fits so well against the body just doesnt look right to me. :Twocents:

I don't like it. :eek2:

I don't like it at all.  :puke:

Mike DC

The front end looks out of step with the rest of the car.

IMHO that front end work was a very labor-intensive and difficult way to make it look like they did it with 5 gallons of bondo and some chrome-foil tape.

TeeWJay426

That was featured in the latest Mopar Collector's Guide. Nicely done, but not really my cup of tea, so to speak.

Ghoste

Just finished the article in MCG and even though I appreciate the work that went into it, to me it was time wasted.  I guess if I didn't think that Dodge had it right the first time I wouldn't still be in love with the car after forty years.

RCKSTR

There is a video of it running an autocross course on youtube, it beat out the new vette, skyline etc... I will try to find it. Not my cup of tea either.. :Twocents:

G-man

I dont know why he would change the 69/70 style tailight (which to me is uniquely charger - makes the charger) for the 68 corvette style tailights that obviously chrysler themselves realised in 69 to change n then kept to the charger ones even in 70 (68 being the first redesigned charger i guess they tweaked that rear end in 69/70 - shame they went downwards for side marker lights and front end though and interior door lock button on top being moved to middle  :D)

I would rather cut the 68 out and stick a 70 in the back not the other way around.

Good craftsmanship but why on earth would anyone spend $$$ to do that to the front of the 69 bumper etc? it looks stuffed.

Engine bay is nice and clean... that I dont mind at all but the rest... meh.

Car also looks like its leaning way to much in the turns... obviously the handling isnt all that crash hot or could be made a hell of a lot better.

:slap: to the whole thing.

Big Sugar

I think it's Well Done ! Definatly more a show car than a driver, But still nicely done, I prefer the 68 taillights over the 69-70's anyday.

I like this thing much better. They did customizing but didn't mess with the actual Charger! Besides the change to right hand steering I like this one.

Now thats a nize car bronze!

Right hand steering is what we would do down here in AU (saftey issue - can see more when your sitting closer to centre of road - drive through the mountains and you will know why - hence up there its left hand drive cause left hand is closer to centre of road)

Unusual to have an odd stripe like that (im very cimetrical thinking) but it adds an edge to it that I like being odd.

Very nice.

Ryan

Some things I like about it, others not so much. But regardless someone did some quality work on it.

Like the second one. The overall look of the first is ok. I agree with most everyone else. Its got a ton of work. The paint work is Awesome! Just dont know what to think about that front end. And im not crazy about the bright interior. I would have gone with black!

why do they make the bigger wheels with all those circles around the rim?? what's the point of that??? makes some otherwise half-decent wheels look stupid.
