That looks like some kind of Citroen and I would surely nominate the Citroen SM series in this.

The 60 and 61 model Plymouths weren't bastions of taste in my biased opinion either.

Along with a lot of what was already posted, I always hated those overpriced Mazzerbaron K-cars.   :eyes:

Wasn't looking to offend  :icon_smile_big:.  Looks better as a dragster.

Though it makes you wonder.  What was the inspiration for the lines on that car? Did they think the Edsel was where things were going? Or were they just going radical (throw it on the wall and see what sticks)?  None the less, "there's a butt for every seat".

Ghoste

The short version of the story is that a GM exec fooled the Chrysler bigshots that GM was going to radically downsize their lines for the upcoming year.  As GM was very much the trendsetter back then, Chrysler ran back to their styling department and told them to make everything smaller... NOW!!!!  The cars were basically already finalized so some last minute downsizing with little regard for bodyline and style resulted in cars that were generally not seen as beautiful (there are many who love that look) but the smaller size made for a lighter car which kicked ass at the strip.

Didn't even think about taking offense, not even mine, but I got to say it does look better than a stock one. I think it's just plain cool.  (Not to get off subject but it seems I read somewhere that the slant six came about from the low hood design on the 1960 models)?
