I am sure some of you guys have seen this, but I just saw it. This guy is right, this
is an early 68. How many Green 68's have you seen with a white int? I actually like it   :scratchchin:

Some what rare early steering wheel
Only two rear seat belts
Arrow emblem on the sail panel

Wrong pass side valve cover, with 69 fender hose holder  :shruggy:

Its late  :popcrn:  did I miss something else?

Something seems screwy with the front seat belt covers. Two driver's side covers maybe? They're both open toward the left of the car. :shruggy: There's also a modern-style master cyl on it and it looks like no dash medallion. Dash medallions are the one interior item I try to get a look at first.

Anyway, it looks great. That color combo is a keeper.

My Charger is TT1 green with green top white stripe and white trim, I think the white trim looks good with the green.

Green & White interior  :2thumbs:  looks great in the dark green R/T!

Oh probably, but its not as though anyone else will know after only a few minutes of examination.  ;D  And not me, most assuredly.  :P

Good find! I'll email the seller to see if the restoration touched upon the sail panel emblems...the vinyl top looks new and was probably replaced. Nice, clean '68.  :2thumbs:

Very interesting. :scratchchin:

Could it be the first Charger off the line? The 396 cars ahead of it could be any Mopar. It certainly has to be made on Day One. Awesome, and a 440, not a SB.

July 30, 1967 was a Saturday. Would the Hamtramck plant have been in production? Wouldn't management wait to start on Monday August 1? (overtime on Saturday?)Maybe the 730 code was just for record keeping and the assembly was started several days later? :shruggy:

Anybody got something about how the plant was run? Barry where are you?

Currently there is the (alleged) first Mustang off the line for sale for $5.5 million. It has a sequence code of 212. The seller very convincingly documents the first 211 Mustangs as being custom builds, making 212 the first production Mustang off the line. It was a great story.   http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-Mustang-1964-1-2-FORD-MUSTANG-CONVERTIBLE-100212-HISTORIC-CAR_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3ca74cc9edQQitemZ260504865261QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks

Thanks for posting the Charger. This is more fun than the Macy's parade.

It has the slots for speakers and defrost motor in the package tray, but no speaker package  :scratchchin:
Must be a new tray   :yesnod: :yesnod:

And the early round vent pull knobs.
