68 Charger Grille Question

I was looking for some 68 Charger grill parts on ebay and I found an ad that said they had 68 Charger and 68 Charger R/T headlight covers. The ad also said that R/T covers were diffrent from non R/T covers.  I thought they were all the same except the badging. Would the R/T Drivers side cover be diffrent than the non R/T just because of how the emblem mounts???/

The Headlight "doors" are the same When dealing with the same years models, just take out the plain Charger "Arrow" and install the R/T Emblem..Done it many times... Not sure if the '68 and '69 are the same though, but I think they are...

Thats what I thought. I gues just another guy on ebay that dosen't know what he is selling. But Maybe I am just another guy that dosen't know what he is buying?

Well, if there was a way to tell FOR SURE that it was a REAL R/T Grille piece, then those would be like "HP" 440 Blocks I guess..

The seller probably has 68 doors mixed in with 69.  I just got all twisted on the same thing the other day when trying to pick the best pair out of the pile.  The 68 only has the R/T (or Arrow) on the door and the Charger script is on the girlle.  69 has both emblems on the door.

I started to think there were "R/T" doors until I checked out a couple pics on the site.

Thanks, your probably right it was on an ebay auction and the guy did have both 68 and 69 headlight doors in the lot of parts he was selling. Thanks again
