Why is there a monkey on the wing? :scratchchin: :ahum: Cool looking car but I can't stand the hubcaps or the interior :eek2:

Q: Does the monkey come with it?? Haha!! Killer car man!!! Best of luck with your auction. JD
A: Nope -- as previously stated, the Monkey accepted a job from Chairman Obama to be the Employment Czar. He's in the White House with the rest of the monkeys running this country.

The Monkey used to work for Suburban Auto Group before the auto crisis hit and got layed off.  Now he sits on the trunk instead of inside it.

Seems like the monkey's name is Ross and he knows more about wingcars than most.
The pic was taken back when BK owned the car and I think it was taken at Ken Pressley's (hemi tyme) shop.

Why is there a monkey on the wing?

IIRC it was a thinly veiled swipe at Dart Girl.

Ghoste

Except that unlike Dart Girl, the monkey has enough sense to wear a diaper.

Can't get that monkey of your back eyh?  :hah:

I'd own it, and leave it exactly like it is,,, with exception to the interior. It would get changed to white and drive the wheels off of it

dark green , factory air and power windows does body good

I tried to buy it a few months ago from the guy in Detroit. The seller tells me that he is on vacation and wont be back till Monday. I had my appraiser all lined up to inspect the day he gets back. I ask him if I can send him a deposit and he says no that he is out of town, and to not worry. He says to call him Monday morning to arrange a meeting between him and the appraiser, then if its accurate to what he says it is then send the deposit. All is good, till I call him Monday and he says he sold the car last week to the guy who owned it before him. Now the guy is selling to make a profit. Oh well i guess its the nature of the Mopar world today. What a shame.
