During their drive, Brennan and Cheryl picked up a young hitchiker, who needed a ride back to the car where he and his friends had started their hike. The hitchhiker was Dennis Mitchel, who recounted how he grew up just a few blocks from Creative Industries when the Daytonas were built. Greetings All,

The magazine version of the journal I kept is good but a few of the details were confused.  The journal changed editorial hands at Mopar Muscle at least once or twice before it made it to print.  It did not make print until a year after the trip.  In the article, they identified Dennis Mitchel as the hitchhiker.  Dennis was actually staying in a room near ours at a motel.  The hitchhiker was a different person.  When condensing the story they mixed a few people up.  Dennis did mention that he thought the head of Creative had kept one of each of the winged cars.
