I don't like G-N-R will turn it off every time I hear it.  Axil is an @?% hole.  Springstein, Yes, not rock.

I listen to Buzzsaw Sirius on the Dish.  Play stuff regular radio just won't play.  I like Janice, Jimi, Metallica, Clutch, &  AC/DC totally rock.  My day is always good when I turn on the radio in the AM and AC/DC is on the air.  I had an ambulance come across intersection in front of me sirens blarin, I never heard it, AC/DC cranked up.  Ain't nothing like BIG BLOCK MOPAR & AC/DC in the morning.

The one and only thing this thread has proven beyond a doubt is the old adage about opinions.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

71charger_fan

Never set out to prove anything, just looking for opinions. As for opinions, whatever station I was listening to on a recent road trip definitely didn't share my negative opinion of Sting/The Police. I can't imagine how anyone actually buys any songs with that guy on vocals, but I worked with a girl that thought he was "brilliant."

Wow, this is an old thread.   :o

Bad Company's "Rock Steady" & "Rock 'N Roll Fantasy"

Come to think of it, I hate most anything by Bad Company.

:iagree:

I rank them right up there with Boston "More Than A Feeling and Foreplay Longtime"

I think everyone should have to post their age along with their burn notice. (48)

'I'm no Angel' by Gregg Allman is at the top of my list.
Anything by Bob Seger (I grew up halfway between Detroit and Ann Arbor, MI)except 'Turn the Page'
'Dirty Laundry' by Don Henley
'Heart of Gold' by Neil Young

there are more, but that's the short list of 'silence is preferred'.

Almost anything from Led Zeppelin. I could never get into them, believe me I tried.

Rock and Roll All Night by KISS.  They are my favorite band, but I hate that f-in song.  In fact, there are several "hits" by them from the 70's I can not stand to listen to anymore.

Anything by the Beatles or any of their solo projects. Anything by Springsteen, Rolling Stones, Bowie, Heart, Rush, Mellencamp and Hendrix.

Car Show music.  If you attend car shows you know what I mean.  This is that crap stuff from the 50's and early 60's. Mainly the surfing music.  Songs like this turd, Little GTO. I hate this f-in song too.

I agree with the not liking the Doors...God I can't stand them...That and anything that came from the late 60's early 70's that has a long assed jam vibe to it...Like the Greatful Dead or the like...

Brock Lee

Anything AC DC. They made like 3 different sings and just changed the lyrics.

chargergirl

Any oldie they play at least once an hour instead of playing the other less "known" songs that are always better
Trust your Woobie!

Magnumcharger

I love music. Period. And almost every type.
But, there are a few songs that will make me immediately turn off whatever is playing them.

#1 (With a bullet-to the head, preferably) is Terry Jacks -Seasons in the sun.
#2 Anything else by the Poppy family.
#3 American Pie by whatshisfuck.
#4 That groaner - "Teen angel". I RUN AWAY FAST whenever I hear somebody pumping that out at a car show.
#5 "House of the rising sun"....argh!

First I have to say love the 80's hair metal but I graduated in 1985 so that explains that.  The all time worst song that is way over played, haven't seen it here yet, is    The Sultans of Swing   by Dire straits. That song is like a long rope,   it never ends!    :bawling:

Black Charger

I have never cared much for:

Bruce Springsteen-completey overrated
U2-annoying, especially Bono
Bruce Hornsby-B-O-R-I-N-G
Phil Collins-also boring
Bob Seeger-his voice sounds like he is straining to take a massive dump
Jackson Browne-can't sing and his songs go nowhere. Also likes to hit women.

Anything by Styx or REO Speedwagon  :brickwall: Pure garbage.

Jason

69DodgeCharger

Styx - Come Sail Away (Hopefully with the entire band into a hurricane)

Starship - We Built This City (And God willing you'll be in it when it's destroyed by an earthquake)

Brewer and Shipley - One Toke Over The Line (Should be enough to cause you two to fall on the tracks and be crushed)

Elton John - Crocodile Rock (This song makes me want to harm small animals)

American Pie - (It's too bad his Chevy didn't go off the levy...with him in it)

The Beatles - Yesterday (If only those rumours of Pauls demise had been true)

Hall and Oates - All of their songs (I can't go for that, Ooooh...no can do)

Greg Kihn - Jeopardy (My radio is in jeopardy every time I hear it)

The Who - Squeezebox (I wouldn't mind squeezing the life out of Pete Townsend)

Ted Nugent - Fred Bear (If only old Fred had done the right thing on that hunting trip)

Bad Company - Shooting Star (Too bad it missed Paul Rogers house)

Foreigner - Cold As Ice (Sort of like your career Lou)

Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear The Reaper (No, please go meet him)

Thin Lizzy - The Boys Are Back In Town (And hopefully they will be leaving soon)

REO Speedwagon - Take It On The Run (Take it anywhere...just take it away from  here)

Gun's N Rose's - Cold November Rain (Axl should walk a thousand miles in that rain)

Heart - Magic Man (I think the magic left in about 1977)

AC/DC - You Shook Me All Night Long (And I will too if I ever hear that song again)

Def Leppard - Bringing On The Heartbreak (It happens every time I hear this miserable piece)

Rod Stewart - Maggie May (Please make it stop, I'll do anything)

Alice Cooper - No More Mr. Nice Guy (Until you destroy all copies of this song)

Kiss - Beth (I hear you calling, that's why I'm not answering the phone)

Van Halen - And The Cradle Will Rock (Good thing because this album sure doesn't)

Marshall Tucker Band - Can't You See (Gonna climb a mountain, the highest mountain, jump off..nobody gonna know....or care)

The Allman Brothers - Whipping Post (I want to deliver a few lashes every time I hear that garbage)

Billy Thorpe - Children Of The Sun (Is it too late to put him on the spaceship also?)

Bob Seger - All (I will offer 1 Billlliiiooonnn dolars for Bob Seger's larnyx)

Cheap trick - I Want You To Want Me (Because nobody else does)

Doobie Brothers - Black Water (Please fall into it)

Joan Jett - I Love Rock And Roll (So did we....before you put out this crap)

The Black Crowes - Hard To Handle (Like most of their music)

Huey Lewis - The Heart Of Rock And Roll Is Still Beating (If only Huey's would have stopped before he wrote that)

This could go on indefinately, but....
