Hi

We came back last night from the honeymoon, we went canoeing on the lake down in the snowy-mountains (which had no snow, wrong time of year), what was funny about that little experience was... normaly people who are affraid of 'snakes' or whatever wouldnt go bushwalking in the heat (spring/summer) as snakes are something ot be carefull of, especially since we got Taipans and King brown's (the worst 2 in the world)... so you assume to go on the water (the lake) and you wont have any issues... well... we saw a 'stick' in the water between 2 little islands in the lake... as we were paddling closer... its head turned... HEAD? SNAKE? HERE? "paddles faster and faster"  :smilielol: Well the good information is that water snakes are even deadlier than land snakes  :slap: Well it did look pretty if anything.

Next day we went to some caves, which looked beautiful aswell.

All in all... we were both very happy, though it was short (3 days away) its worth going back down there. Next time we take the tent with us and camp where the caves are so we can see all of them (theres quite a few).

Pictures?

Thats where I need a good  :slap:

Didn't have a camera with me... I need to buy one and forgot to get mums one to use on the trip... remembered when we were half way down there.

Next trip will definately have a camera!

I just feel sad I will never have a picture of that snake floating on water... its not something I can just pick to go see any time I feel like it and it woulda made a great shot with water reflecting in the photo and a snake above it.
