I will be doing what I do every black Friday.....staying at home. I'd rather pay full price than fight the crowds for the sales. Besides that, I am a huge Alabama Crimson Tide fan, and the Iron Bowl against Auburn is on black Friday this year....just another reason to stay home!

I can't handle the number of people at walmart on a regular day, God help on me on black friday. I'm gonna stay home and nurse a hangover probably.

I'm buried at work so I'll be working all day plus the weekend.
I'd work Thanksgiving but the wife would divorce me, hmmm

Done it once and Ill never do it again. Went to Wally World several years ago (probably 12 or so) to get a new Acer PC they had on sale from 5-7 AM. I remember two old ladies getting in a fight over a microwave oven and 3 or 4 people were trampled at the front door trying to get in. Utter madness.

I think Ill sit right here on my ass and order all my stuff online again this year. It wont be nearly as crowded that way.

I'm already done with my holiday shopping. I only have to buy things for my 2 boys which is easy cause it is usually video game stuff. My mom doesn't want me to get her anything anymore for her. (she will get mad if I do). This year I am going to be alone for the holidays cause my boys will be in Florida for 3 weeks. And as of right now, my mom told me she doesnt want me over for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

We went and did a whole ton of shopping this past weekend.
There were some good deals out there. Some clearance stuff, but still good stuff.
I'll take that over stupid crowds any day.
Besides, when you shop in another country you find stuff that you just don't see at home.

We were in Erie, PA and had planned to go to Grove City and hit the outlet mall, but we spent about two thirds of our duty-free allowance in the first half day. So, we skipped the outlets.

I went to HarborFreight for the first time ever.  Not much different than Princess Auto up here, but I did scoop up a few deals with some coupons that I pulled of of their website.
Car dollies for $40 a pair.

I will be sleeping in while the wife (only one in the family crazy enough to go out) heads out at 4 am to fight the crowds, im sure i will be getting text updates of the madness though.

Iam a guy I go out every year to save me some buck.. the most I have ever stood out side was like 40 minutes in my job I have to stand outside in the cold for 1.5 hours so it nothing to me I just look/ talk to the women that are in line to pass the time by more pleasantly...

1. you have to know what you want. do the research on the items as well meaning the feed back on the products you want. it does help
2. have a plan/map to go to store to store for more than one item you might be getting.
3. what time the store open to each other and select the store closer together.
4. try to know the lay out of the store.
5. know where the item might be in the store because they like to have people look ofr the items some times. case in point one year I was going to look for a vacum cleaner and it wasnt in the isle with the rest . It was in front of a register at walmart on a pallet.
6. get the item fast fast as you can to the check-out.
7 thats it in and out dont have to mess with the idiots asking question when they should have done there research  

Iam back home normally in like 2-3 hour less that is with all the stores and travel time to get back home with the workers go to work.

Wife was going to go to Sears tomorrow for something. It was added on-line for the same price last night.

I'll be heading to the state of NY in the morning.    I guess it's better than fighting the crowds. Besides, the only one I get anything for is my son, and I write that one out on a piece of paper.

with government wanting some of that stimulus money back we better start saving a few $$$ instead of wasting it lol

 last Yr. I was at Fry's Electronics early - where I got my 46" Samsung Hi Def. for $899.00 and all those TVs were flying out the doors. I had been tracking that specific TVs' price which is/was normally $1,600 so it as worth it to get up at 5:00 AM. I also bought memory sticks and several 2-4 MG photo cards basically everything was half price.
I'd hate to have to go regular old Xmas shopping though, but in my case it was defiantly worth it.
Love my TV!

And with the way they screwed up everyones federal tax withholding this last year, There are going to be a lot of people payin in this year instead of getting money back.

Just got back from the big day my legs are shot. Iam going back to be befroe work... walmart was the worst cell phones next then toys r us and dick sporting goods store. I got 3/4 my stuff dam bastards that dont have one sale item in the store. instead of quantities..

Well, I had to go cause my little brother wanted a 100lb punching bag with stand and mom's car wouldn't fit it. She's afraid of driving my truck so I ended up going. On the bright side they bought me a digital camera so I'm happy
