i just replaced my sending unit and now i need to find out which wire is the right one 2 hook up can someone tell me what color it is and what does the end one the wire look like hook mayb? (72 charger)

68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Gray... light brown is the final color after YEARS EXPOSED WITH THE ENGINE BAY HEAT :P

BTW wire is without any kind of insulator. Is a Lonely wire hanging around with a small spade terminal that slides in to the sender top and round "rivet". Not a regular terminal, is kinda diff on a close up.

Imposible to cross or get confused with another wire

oh ok thanks nacho. yeah all my wires are all bunched up so im trin to figure out were each one goes im pretty much done just a few hear an there. then i can get my charger on the road. but thanks
