Two-tone white over green Daytona

After MoparStuart put me to the test on the Cale Yarborough special that was from my area, I got to wondering about another car I saw "back in the day."  The summer of '76, there passed us heading north on U.S. 29 a Daytona, white on top, drk green bottom.  The color break was at the body line (top corner) of the rear quarters and front fenders, with the top of the nose white and the sides/bottom the dark green.  This was not the F6, but a dark nearly olive drab.  Never saw the car again.  Anyone ever hear of anything like this?

Forgot to give location.  This would have been Lynchburg, Va.  About 2 1/2 hours south of DC, about 1 1/2 hours west of Richmond, 1 hour north of Danvill (NC state line).

Dr Hoehns daytona been through a few paint jobs but no 2 tones.Still looking through old pictures.I did recall Gaddis car being a 2 tone but werent sure what colors

Just to give everyone a better "mental picture."  Imagine the Bobby Allison #22 daytona, white where the gold is, and dark "Hunter green" where the red is.  Wing was white.
